Sustainable manufacturing is the creation of manufactured products through economically-sound processes that minimize negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources. Sustainable manufacturing also enhances employee, community, and product safety. In this regard, thin-films have contributed significantly and their are many future prospects of development as far as thin-film application for sustainable manufacturing is considered. Thus, the present event aims at exploring those areas for further advancements in sustainability.
